I've sent a certified letter to the landlord with names of all the tenants, I've asked him to fix it several times over the phone. I called him up the other day to fix it and I notice he just wrote DO NOT ENTER on the door to the basement instead of fixing anything, but said he would. I am getting fed up with waiting for him to fix it. What should I say to him next? Or should I contact some sort of agency???? He gives me a real attitude when I call him about fixing things.

4 years ago, my husband and I filed for chapter 13 bankruptcy. I thought that our 2nd mortage was included in the bankruptcy, and had no reason not to, until a month ago, when we get a call out of the blue from the bank's collection agency demanding the full payment of the loan, plus interest which on the original loan on 27,500.00 is now at 33,000.00. Now, for over 4 years I have not received the first late notice or phone call from the bank to tell me I was late on a payment. I made a horrific mistake and want to take care of it, but do not have that kind of money. We have been discharged from the Bankruptcy for over 1 year as well, and this is our 1st notification of any problems. Out credit report even says the account is paid as agreed. I had no reason not to think this account was not included. Now Im going to loose my house. The recovery agency says they'll sell the house, pay off the 1st mortgage and get whatever they can for the 2nd and send us a bill for the the remainder

A possible tenant does not want to give out identity information to someone she doesn't know. I understand that but I'd like to check her credit.

Me and my husband are looking for a secluded area of the lower 48 that stays relatively cool throughout the year and has a significant amount of snowfall. A small town area of Colorado is desirable. He would like to purchase a rustic cabin for year-round living. Me, I prefer a bit of an upgrade, like indoor plumbing perhaps. But we both agree that large amounts of snowfall is a plus. We do not ski, hate skiing, just love the cold and snow.

I currently own several rentals that I would like to protect with seperate LLC's. Should I do it online with something like Legalzoom, or is it worth the extra money to hire a local attorney? I'm able to file the paperwork myself. I just want to make sure it's done right.
