The bank says "no problemo" - but they just might wanna snatch the house back in 6 months! Here are the details, and yes, I'm in NY:

Gross income: $8500 (net $5500)
All bills generally come to $1600

How much house can I pull off? I'll likely put down 5% and then have two mortgages: an 80% at about 6.25 and a 15% at about 8.5%. Help!

I always get in an argument with my 17 yr old sister and she wants me to move out of the house so she could have my room. I'm 25 and I really want to move out, but I can't afford getting my own apartment. I live in the bay area and it's really expensive to rent an apartment. I don't want to get a room mate either. What should I do?

Does anybody know an effective way of selling?

I lived in an apartment and had filed bankruptcy during that time. I did not include the current apartment complex in the bankruptcy.

However, I got behind on the rent and the apartment became turned over to an attorney. The attorney's office told me that they could not discuss the financial obligations with me because I was in an open bankruptcy. (The kind you repay, ammended payments) They told me that they had to deal with my own attorney.

However, I got a letter from THE APARTMENT complex attorney, October 13, saying they were going to court to retain ownership of the apartment. They never filed an eviction notice with me because my own attorney informed me that I didn't have to go to court because he would represent me.
I never got any information such as legal documentation, only the letter from the complex's attorney stating they were ATTEMPTING to regain possession. I got evicted on November 6 and was kicked out of my apartment and lost everything I had. Is that legal?

I would really appreciate it if BROKERS answered this question only.... I do not want answers from people who sell leads....

I currently purchse leads from NexTag, and one or two other sources. Some are much better than others.

What lead sources have been the best overall for you? Thanks in advance.

what I mean is that it isn't in a suburb, but has a sense of neighborhood where you can walk out your door and not have to get into a vehicle to get places.

We have a one year lease which expires late Summer 2007. Two party-ers and one no so party-going. Two dogs that aren't on the lease, and they didn't pay a pet deposit either. I'm tired of picking up their *POO* and they're ruining the carpet. I'd like to move in with another friend, but I'm bound to this lease. If I report their dogs to the landlord, then I'll be held responsible too! UGH!!!!!!!

About 2.5 years ago i bought the house I am in now. behind my house is a rental house which was occupied when i moved in. So now I collect rent each month from this tenant. The problem is I was given the rental agreement ( I remember reading it ) during the closing. But amid the mountain of paperwork that goes along with buying a house I somehow misplaced the rental agreement. Any recommendations on what I can do? thanks

rented a home from a woman who presented the house through a reality company as being avaialble for 12 month lease. Within the first week I moved in a mortgage loan collector came to the door, and said he had been to the property for several weeks trying to give notice, but the property was vacant. My landlord 2 weeks later came to me, and confirmed that the house was in the process of forclosure, and that my family, and I have to leave. Up front I gave her $1175.00 for security, and $1175.00 to the leasing company she listed the home through as first months rent counted to their comission ( I moved in the 10th of OCT and my prorate was to be paid in November). My landlord returned my security, and check for my 2nd month's rent uncashed, but I believe the reality company is also responsible for presenting me with a lease that was never valid, and should return the money I paid to them, and then they go after my lanlord for commiting fraud.

The bank president told me today that the bank believes it is my signiture. Its a small bank and I believe he is trying to protect her.

I have a commercial building that I have purchased, Previous owner left property in it, also I am planning on fixing several problems this property has. The tenant is a nasty person, and so I go into the building when she is not there. Do I need to give her 24 hrs. notice to go into the building. She is threatening me of changing the locks and not giving me a key. Is this lawful of her? In her contract with her previous landlord there is no statement stating notice, and I bought the building with her able to keep her lease till it runs out. Does a landlord have any rights? She is not maintaining the building and it is filthy, and of course she did not have a down payment of anything.
