Zillow will show you what homes have sold in your area. It will give you a range. It does not give you the exact price of your home; if your house is larger, smaller, in better condition, has superior, inferior location it will not be reflective.

There actually was an article on CNN regarding Zillow. The article stated that Zillow got sued for misleading people in regards to the property value. It often gave a higher dollar value than the property was really worth. Thus, i wouldn't count on Zillow to give you a credible and true value. If you buy or sell your property, have a certified appraiser look at the property.

Zillow gets their figures from the local Assessor's Office. So their "Zestimates" are that ?accurate?
