I am interested on claiming a small yard in derbyshire UK, that is currently being used by the local council but has not been registered with the land registery. Any idea's on how to go about this without upsetting the council. Or for that matter the council finding out.

I am having a house built, and it almost finished the house just appraised for less than what home building company is asking for? I haven't had a chance to talk to my sales rep. I don't know what to do? I also don't know what they are going to do. THe bank will not lend me more than what the house is worth. What do you think is going to happen a far as the seller, and what should I do?

My apartment complex has recently decided to change over into condos and sell. Since they are getting ready to sell to the public they have started making alot of changes to make the place more desirable, although they have been kind enough to let me stay until the end of my lease before they kick me out.
I received a letter on my door, as did all the other tenants, that we are to clear off our patios and can have nothing on them but a doormat. My patio is not an eyesore and is very neat. I have a swing and a couple of plants on it, which I have been told will be removed if I don't remove them. There is nothing in our lease aggreement that we cannot have things on our patio, only that it is not to be used as a storage area.
Is there anything I can do to fight this?? Thank you

I am a 1st time homebuyer. My husband wants the conventional loan b/c we can pay our taxes and insurance in one lump sum once a year. I like the idea as well b/c it lowers our monthly pymt every month, and we can use our bonuses, etc to pay our taxes. I just dont know which one to go for.

I'll be using the money for realestate investments. I'll be using it as I find properties and I want a place to keep the balance until I need it, that can earn some interest. I need easy access to it so it cannot be tied up for an extended period. I suppose a mix of options might work if you have the right idea - some short term instant withdrawl and some longer term avaialability (months)
