I have just had my property valued at £110k. No problem with that, i hear you say. only, I purchased the property for £123k less than 10 months ago. I want to sell but now have 13k negative equity. lenders say "the valuation does not reflect the market valuation and was solely obtained to enable consideration of mortgage." They then also state that "If you are purchasing a property, this valuation does not warrant that the purchase price is reasonable."

Please help as i am getting desperate.

I don't get it: housing in Iceland is as expensive as NYC. Why? And how do people afford it?

I would like a farm with 100 to 300 acres(rolling landscape and woods are ok) with a livable house in any condition, a runing stream or nearby the Kickapoo River. The property is intended as a recreational and retirement area for a private owner.

Is this a good time to buy in San Francisco? Why or why not?

I've found the perfect property in central Florida. It's right next door to my best friend. It's an acre of land with an older single-wide mobile home on it. It's the only home I can afford without being an absolute shack on no property. I love this because I'd be spending my money mostly investing in the property, and I could build my dream home on it later.
The problem is, I have no down payment. I was told there are programs out there that help with that. I was approved by my bank for the mortgage, so I have good credit. However, every government program I could find will not help with the purchase of a mobile home; not SHIP, not First Time Homebuyers, not Fannie Mae, not HOME, etc.
Does anyone have any ideas???

My boyfriend is looking to purchase a townhome. We are planning on living together. He suggested to me that he wants to put the home in his name, but wants me to help with the mortgage, but I would have no ownership. He says he doesn't want to co-own. But I don't want to feel like I'm paying rent to him to live with him in a house he bought. I think if I'm paying for a part of it I should have some ownership in it.
What are the different options one has in a situation like this?

Your answers are greatly appreciated.

Would any of you play a online game where the focus is to buy and sell realestate?

It would be for fun and you wouldnt need to know alot about the real estate market. The economy would fluctuate and you would be able to buy and sell to there players in the game and talk with them.

Would you play if you could win prizes?
