MRIS.com ------ one advise for you though Northern Virginia is a ridiculesly expensive area. It is also one of the suburbs of Washington DC. Lots of people that work in Northern VA and DC are becoming unable to afford living ther so most of them are relocating to Fredricksburg and near cities (approximately 1 hour drive from NOVA and DC). Therefore, best advise for you is to look for places ASAP because prices are getting worse. Traffic is also a pain (top worst traffic areas in the nation), so plan ahead. Good luck.

www.apartments.com is great because they not only show apartments for rent but they also post newspaper listings!

I used themt o find my apartment in Wichita and they were very accurate. They also provide an 800 number to the rental youa re looking at.

Good luck and welcome to VA!
