Would any of you play a online game where the focus is to buy and sell realestate?

It would be for fun and you wouldnt need to know alot about the real estate market. The economy would fluctuate and you would be able to buy and sell to there players in the game and talk with them.

Would you play if you could win prizes?

Sounds like a great idea. You could make it into like vacation homes, with locations in Aspen, or Cancun, Switzerland or Costa Rica, with all the trappings of those locations, including the weather element (hurricanes that bring the market down for a season, winter that drives the business on for others...) and the whole touristy schmalz... Hey, playing there could be the next best thing to being there... dreamland... Prizes would definitely be nice - they always are. But I think just the temporary escape - if you plan it out right - could be incentive enough. Good luck with it!

Soudns awesome. Of course it would have to be more sophisticated than Monopoly. Have you played Kiyosaki's "Cash Flow 101" game? I'm not exaclty sure, but I think it deals a lot with real estate.

You can also add some great ideas such as 1031 exchanges, rent out units, fixer uppers etc... You can do many, many great things. Actaully it would be interesting to have a game where you can "flip a property".

I would think there would be people that would play.

I think that I would try it.

It wouldn't need prizes.
