Is there any possibility of getting an international mortgage from a low interest country to cover a purchase of a home in the United States? I have heard that this is a possibility, but I can't find any information ... does anybody know?

I was told that there is a free service that if you provide your property address they can tell you what the value of your property is based on current appraisals of property in the same area. If this is true does anyone have the website address where I can obtain this information.

I am looking for a house to rent in and of these areas...Sherman Oaks, Encino, Woodland Hills, Studio City, Burbank, or North Hollywood. I need to be moved in by the 1st of August or as close as possible to that date. Does anyone know of any places I can go to look for these houses besides Westsite Rentals?

And I'm not talking about million dollar homes on the ocean either. From coast to coast, towns large and small. there is always the neighborhood in every single one of them where people own $250,000+ homes. I am amazed at the number of people that own them. And even if you have all kinds of credit (spending other peoples money as i read in another post) you still have to be able to afford the 2,000+ per month mortgage payment. Seriously who can do that? I am mind boggled by this. I can't believe so many people can afford this, sometimes I feel like knocking on their door and asking "Just what is it you do?" There can't be that many CEO'S and doctors, business owners or similiar. So seriously, what kind of work/income for these people? And if you own such a home tell me what you do!!!!

And if so, to who? The management at my complex sucks really bad. No one is ever in the office to answer questions, take rent checks, maintenance is nonexistent, it's ridiculous. I'm supposed to notify them that I'm moving out and not renewing my lease in thirty days and I don't know how I'm supposed to do that when I can't get a hold of anyone. So yeah, what can I do?

We were tennants for 2 years, prior to buying our home. Due to timing, we were going to have to pay rent + mortgage for two months. I wrote a letter giving our 30 days notice 90 days ahead of time. I also asked if there was any way for him to work with us in finding a new tennant. He did not want to work with us, and became quite a jerk, threatening us with abandonment, eviction, etc...all while we were in good standing with the rent. We paid for the month of July, in full and on time. This was to be our final month according to the contract.

Today we received a letter with two checks, from the landlord. One check was for a refund of half of this months rent. The other was for less than half of our deposit ($1050). The deductions listed an "agreed cost-of-reletting and/or accelerated rent" (half of the deposit $525) and a $91 advert. fee. These fees are not mentioned in our contract, and were never brought to our attention. Can he do this? What should we do?

A friend of mine attended a Donald Trump real-estate seminar over the weekend and one of the guest speakers mentioned that homes built before 1930 can qualify for government grants. The speaker ended it there and said he reveals the details after you purchase his book or video. Does anyone have any other information regarding this?

Inspection issues: poor ventillation throughout house and attic, roof near end of life, no drainage outside of house, possible moisture issue with window, need heating and AC replaced and possible foundation problem. Owner has overpriced the house but does want to sell it (to get rid of it no doubt).

I have to move at the end of the month. Originally I was going to move in with a coworker who is purchasing a townhome. The rent would be $625, utilties included. Except last week he ran into some problems closing on the house. Just in case I started looking at other options. I found a place with the same rent, but a bigger bedroom (master's bedroom with my own personal bathroom), also includes utilities. All the other amenities are the same. Now I'm not sure what to do! Since my coworker hasn't closed on his mortgage yet (85% that it'll happen), I'm afraid if I give up on this other apt option then finds out he can't purchase the place, I'll only have one week to find another place to live. The benefit of renting from my coworker is that he's trustworthy and I wont' have to worry about a thing. The benefit of renting from this other place is that I'll get more space and my own private bathroom, but live with strangers. Help! What would you do?

Our mother was very sick. I was her personal nurse for alomst two yrs. until she passed. One yr before she died, we (my brother, sister and I) transfered the title of her home into all our names. This was so we wouldn't lose it to a nursing home if she had to go to one. I had been living in the home for 5 yrs. already and then care of my mother for almost two more yrs. until she passed. I am now paying all bills here ( there is no mortage). My brother ans sister expect me to pay rent to them. And also my sister wants me and my 15 yrs old son to just pick anf leave the house after living there for 7 yrs. What are my rights?
