First they said I had to catch it up. Then they threatened me with foreclosure. Now they say they will work with me, but are waiting on some paper to cofirm that I have no other liens against the property. But they are still refusing to take my money, even though it is in my bank account. Is this legal? What can I do?

The renters market is really booming. We own several multis in CT and are thinking of getting some out of state. Anyone know about any untapped places that would be great money makers?

I 've been considering to live half of the year in Florida and half in the Maine. I like the weather in Maine in the summer but don't appreciate the winter there, and also hate summers in Florida.
What do you think about those two states?

I need to sell a home in Olrando and I am not sure how to find a good real estate person. I just don't want to call anyone. They say a good realtor is key especially in the market we are in now.

I already lost 7 months with my curreny realtor (who is also a friend) and I feel she has not done enough to sell my house.

any suggestions?

Recently divorced, ex is suppose to refinace the house and pay me the difference in amount loaned and amount owed since he wants to keep it. I think I should have the right to see the appraisel and maximum amount that could be loaned before I sign the deed over to him

I am considering applying for an FHA loan but do not want to include my spouse as a co-borrower b/c her credit is poor. We live in Florida (not a community property state). Question is:
Does my wife have to apply as well???

I've looked all over the internet and cannot seem to find the answer.

by law. (In Minnesota they have 21 days to return it). I havent got it yet so I called him today and asked if it was in the mail.

he asked me if he could have until the end of the month to return it and I just told him that he had until saturday to legally return it. he relpied with yeah but can I have until the end of the month. I just repeated what I said, not wanting to give him an answer without knowing my all legal rights. I asked him very politely why he needed til the end of the month and he just said thats just the way the ball bounces. and said he would call me Saturday.

I was just wondering how much my court costs would be (again Minnesota) to see if its worth taking him to court over. my deposit was a little over 800 and I do know that if he doesnt pay he has to pay double for whatever he holds.

should I let him have until the end of the month or would it be worth my and my boyfriends time (who also lived with me there) to take him to court.

sorry so long!

I'm thinking about building a new home in the Fort Worth, Keller area of Texas. What element should this home have so it easily resales in the next five years- minimum sq, ft., bed/bad, garage (do I really need three?), gameroom, media room, acerage, patio, pool, etc. What interior elements should I have- dark cabinets, garden tub, master sitting room, etc.

I really want to buy a home in the next year or so. We are working on our second child, due in February, and our lease is up on our two bedroom apartment in May. I have never looked into it before, I don't even know where to start. My credit isn't great (debt from years ago and current student loans), but my husband's is really good. I was also wondering if someone could give me an average of how much the home costs to how much the monthly payment on the loan would be. Like if I bought a $120,000 home, my monthly payment would most likely be..... Any help anyone could give me on this would be much appreciated! Thanks!

OK this is what i want to do , I want to buy 30 acers of land.I'll clear out the land and divided it in to sections. Each section will be two acers( thats 15 section).Next ill pave the road so i can bring the value up on the land .

One acer of land cost $7,500 dollars. A section will cost 15,000 thousand dollars.I get a loan for 225,000 dollars to buy the 30 acers of land. I'll add $4,000 so i can make a profit , plus i paved the road with concrete .So the value will be $19,000 dollars.

$225,000 + 2% intrest =238,500 the money i made will be $285,000. 285,000 - 238,500=46,500.So i make a 46,500 dollars profit.

Well guys is this a good idea?

I found the most beautiful home for $105K, and when I get a chance I'd move down there but I'm probably going to rent it out while I'm up here. It looks like a perfect first home for us. Can I get the mortgage here? How's the area, work wise down there?

THANKS!

I was watching the infomericals about how people are making money buying a property and then selling it in a little bit of time and making thousands profit a sale.
I know that most of these infomericals are over priced... so I rather read a few books that use the same concept. Anybody here can recommend any? that would be great

Do mineral rights cover resources on suface of the land (timber, crops) or only below the suface?

I know mineral rights can be separated from the land, but can rights to minerals be separated? For example, can one person own rights to rock that can be quarried & someone else own rights to pertroleum?
