I'm considering buying a small house at a sheriff's sale, but I'm not allowed to inspect the inside. I would be a potentially great investment.

$7,000 in loan fees....Not to mention other closing costs, like inspections, appraisals, etc. She wants me to pay part of her loan fees....I dont think I want to do that, I am already paying my share...What do you recommend I do? Since I have never gotten a mortgage, I had no idea how expensive they are. She is putting no money down, is this why her fees are so high?

Also, I sold the property below value because I saved the on realtor's fees. I don't want to take any more off, she is paying my asking price, but now I think she is trying to get some more money off the price by asking me to do this...What do you suggest?

Hello:
I am applying for a pre-approval for a mortgage loan and want to know if my Thift Savings Plan should be listed as an asset?

Also, part of my Thift Savings Plan will be used for my down payment. For example: If I have $40K in my Thift, I am able to take out $15K for a down payment for a home. Should I list the remaining $25K under the asset section.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

One of the tenants in a California triplex building I own wants to buy a house and applied for a mortgage loan. Currently he is witholding rent due to an alleged maintenance issue. The lender sent me a "Verification or Rent/Mortage" form. Is there any legal requirement requiring me to complete the form?

I signed a lease for a house in Seattle, and paid the deposit with a check. I never got a receipt, nor did the landlord give me a lease with his signature on it. The week before I was supposed to move in, my mother got sick and had to have surgery. I had to go be with her and so had to cancel on the lease. I never moved in. The landlord told me over the phone that he would send me back the money, but when I tried calling him the next day, he would not return my calls. I started to worry that he might not send back the money, so I checked with my bank and was able to put a "stop payment" on the check. Now the landlord is threatening a lawsuit and wants the deposit plus extra money for his "time." According to Washington State law, the landlord should have at the very least given me a receipt for the deposit and given me a lease with his signature on it. I never got either. Should I worry about his threats?

agree to sell the house. They are in the middle of a divorce and rather than sell the house and split the cash 50/50 as required here in the state of Florida, the husband is forcing the house into foreclosure. Is the wife able to do something to force the sale of the house? Are there any laws that she can call on to force him? She is the co-borrower on the Mortgage.

You don't have give note to your tenants to sell your condo or any of your real estate. It's not eviction. The buyer might accept your tenants, if not, you give them 30 day note to move out. If your tenant doesn't cooperate with brokers showing your house, then give 30 day note to get them out. It's the answer from my eviction attorney in LA.If you need this company phone, let me know; they are the best one.
