I lived in Idaho for 11 years. It change definately change from area to area. Which part? I lived in South East Idaho near Idaho Falls and the Grand Teton Nation Park. There is hardly a prettier place on earth during the summer. The winter is VERY long and harsh. Expect snow from September to May. Sun doens't come out too much. The people are sorta quaint, but generally good. I'd suggest living in a town with some population so you aren't a real newcomer target. I wouldn't live there again as I hate the cold and love the sun, but for some people, it could be okay!

idaho is a beautiful place to live the idah falls area in particular .The area is mostly mormon theyre nice people ......Be aware that farther north is known for racist arian types
