My husband and I are planning on moving out of state in 2009, is it too soon to get information from an agent? Will they just laugh? I know there's a lot of paperwork and stuff, how long does it normally take to do everything?

My fiance and I have lived in this apartment since November and there is a new tennant up stairs who is constantly loud and throwing parties all the time for days straight. When I first asked her to quiet down she screamed at me. When I called the Landlord about this she then called the tenant who came downstairs with all of those people and screamed and harrassed me. And at this moment she is still being loud, rude, and inconciderate. What can we do about this? PLEASE HELP ME!!

I found a house that I'm interested in buying and I would like to find out what similar houses in my neighborhood have sold for recently. Is there a website or some other way I could find out this information without hiring an appraiser? I haven't made an offer and would want to hire an appraiser everytime I find I house I'm interested in. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I read that before you buy a house, you have to figure out if, in ten years, the neighborhood will be going down.
Well, what would be the signs that a neighborhood is going down? (or will go down).
I live in the United States.

I offer any customer that uses me as their Realtor to buy any property listed with any company, 50% of my commission as a buyers rebate. And I am good at what I do yet nobody seems to understand that by using me they are going to save thousands in closing cost. Does anyone have any idea as to why nobody seems to want to get half of my commission to apply to closing cost , when I provide the same service as any other Realtor in my area.

The house is currently for sale. Could the realtor sell the house and leave us looking again? Will a long-term lease prevent this? Any help will be appreciated. (We are afraid that after we get unpacked and settled in, the house will get sold.)

I need to find a good resource for finding apartments in this area. Maybe a leasing agent? I want to know ALL options for apartment renting. Including apartment complexes, small apartment buildings, and houses that are separated into rental units.

I've exhaused all my resources. Theyve taken up all the space in the living room, dining room, spare bedroom, and lately Ive been stuffing them in the kitchen closet and in the oven when not in use. I'm thinking of renting space at a self storage. Is this a costly alternative?

I am 16, and planning on going in real estate because it seems like hard work in that business pays off compared to other places and because I am very persuasive.
When I start my junior year at my high school.. I have about 2 free clases what do you think I should take that will help me with real estate?
I am going to go to "cal state san bernardino" after I graduate high school. So what clases do you guys suggest I should take there and what should I major in.. that will ultimately help me with my real estate journey.
Also someone suggested to me I should get insurance..220 license ,real estate, mortgage license? can someone explain to me what all that does?

I know an older lady (50) who has recently lost her husband. With her current income, she can't afford to make the house payments, car insurance, utility bill and things of necessities such as those. The house is in need of major repairs which she can't afford so selling is not a good option. Health problems does not allow her to work 2nd job. Credit is now shot. She pays the balance on her medical bills after the insurance has been filed. When her husband first went out on disabilty before his death, they filed bankruptcy (his income was lessened) and they were able to make all they payments. What should she do now? What options are available to her? We have helped her pay some notes but can't afford to keep this up.
