I 've been considering to live half of the year in Florida and half in the Maine. I like the weather in Maine in the summer but don't appreciate the winter there, and also hate summers in Florida.
What do you think about those two states?

As a Mainer, I can certainly vouch for the near perfection of almost three-quarters of the year here save the winter, but I don't know how much the summer in Florida varies from the winter in Florida. Do you enjoy humidity? If not, I would say that a better place for the snowbird in you might be a drier warm climate such as New Mexico or Arizona.

Never been to Fla. but know people who have. Said it's fine in winter.Maine is beautiful, especially along the coast line. Good choices as far as I can tell.......
