Recently divorced, ex is suppose to refinace the house and pay me the difference in amount loaned and amount owed since he wants to keep it. I think I should have the right to see the appraisel and maximum amount that could be loaned before I sign the deed over to him

DON'T SIGN ANYTHING until you see the appraisal report from the mortgage company and have a check in your hands. Tell them you want to be present at the closing for the refinance and will expect your check for your half of the equity at that time. Don't sign anything until you get that check at the closing.

Absolutely, you have the right since it part of your divorce agreement. How ever else would you know what you are supposed to be receiving.

As the person before me said, don't sign the deed until you see the documentation, simple as that and completely within your rights!

Good luck :)

Honey, of course you have all the right. If he doesn't show you any documentation-- Don't sign the deed over to him.
