I sent money to a company using western union which charged me for it on top of the fee I got for cashing the cheque at moneymart. The company is a scam. Will I get the funds AND the transaction fees back? I don't have good credit, much of a job, not in school, not a home owner, the bank said to get a loan... Which company can help me in Vancouver? Should I sew, WHAT SHOULD I DO???

I live in a big city, so rent in my neighborhood is at least 600 for a nice place.

I'm still in school, I go to college.

Is there a way? I don't have much money.

I know some friends who've moved to apartments and I didn't want to ask "Hey, where'd you get your money from to move out?"

So that made me think that there was a way. What do I need to have or to do? I know there's first and last months rent and insurance so that 600 becomes about 2 thousand.

I'll be 22 soon and have a part-time, will that be helpful?

Hello, Obviously I cannot pay 14.25 interest rate, and they say you cannot consolidate one, single, loan. What are my options to get a lower interest rate? Should I take out a personal loan with a lower interest rate and co-signer and pay off that way?

yeah i'd like to get a reloadable mastercard because i am only 16 and can't have a real credit card but there are some things that i would like to purchase online and can't because of not having a credit card. so my question is:

does anyone know for sure if i can use a re-loadable mastercard to make ONLINE purchases?

i'm not talking about the MUCH card. i mean like the one you can just buy at the store, it comes in a little flimsy cardboard case thingy and there is like a $4 and something cent activation fee, where as the MUCH card fee is like almost $30. if i have to pay $30 because the re-loadable mastercard doesn't work online then i will.... but it's faster to get the re-loadable card because it's right in the store where as i have to apply online for the MUCH card and wait weeks.

the mastercard is pretty much instant - and cheaper. :P

so if anyone could share their knowledge with me that would be cool. oh yeah i live in ontario canada in case that makes any difference. thnx..

I'm about to attend Community College within the next two weeks, but my financial aid is still being sorted out.

In order for me to go to school, I have to give them $1500 by January 2nd. They said that if financial aid goes through afterwards, they would refund my money... but I don't have access to that kind of money right now.

Is there anywhere where I can get a loan?

I have no credit, and I don't even have a job. The only thing I own that is worth any money is my car. Other than that, I'm pretty much broke. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!

I just received the summons and complaint from a Law firm, debt that I could not pay to Discover. I have no job , and The amount of the principal may be around $750. They are sued me for $2330.54. I have 21 days to file an answer with the court or take other lawful action with the court. What does that mean?
1)Should I write a letter to my creditor ( Discover..?Or the Law firm?)
2) What should I say on this letter..my offer (for instance $700 paid in full..?or something around that amount?) or shouls I say something else?
3) What are my options (I understand that if I go to court I will end up paying court fees)

I was told that I am preapproved for a VA loan by my loan officer. However, he says that due to the fact that I have some open (deliquent) accounts in collections (old medical bills) it may affect me being approved. I have been current on all my bills for the past few years. These medical bills are a least two years old some 4 or 5 but they collection agencies keep updating them on my credit repot. I was always told to just wait the 7 years out. One is 3,500 and others 1,500 a piece. Will this hurt my chances of getting approved? He suggested that I pay them off. Will this help? I thought VA looked at FICA scores which is like 670 and debt and income which are both good. Is it that easy to get pre-approved?

Well, I'm 13, going to be 14 in about a week. I want to know how I can just start collecting money over time and I'm not talking about jobs like babysitting or raking lawns. I do chores, but I don't get an allowance. I want something I can do like after school and on my spare time. Currently I just turn in bottle caps online, pick up any loose change I find on the ground, and sweepstakes I'm able to do. Please don't mention filling out surveys because I tried that and I got a lot of spam mail that I can't get rid of. Thanks in advance.

Okay, 5 days prior to closing on our new home our old home caught on fire and burned down completely (Due to ice storm). Our settlement amount will come close to what we owe on our new mortgage. I say we pay off our new mortgage (155K) and keep our old mortgage (30K) and just clear the lot or slowly rebuild the burned house and use it for a rental. This home in is Oklahoma, so the price of homes (and new homes) isn't as high as other states.

How else would be a better investment.
