I like to make more money with it . Can I put it in a high yield saving acccount or a money market savings account or a CD deposit acct ? I want to make it grow to more money. Which is the best way to go on this? However, I also want to be able to get into my account at anytime or make withdraws anytime. And how does it works with CD's and the money market deposit ?

A former co-worker about a year ago struggling with financial hardship needed a cell phone to keep in touch with her family in NY and somehow convinced me to open up an additional line under my account temporarily. She ran up my bill up to $1,700 in 40 days plus the price of the phone. She was authorized as the account user and all of the calls and phone #'s belong to her. I can prove its her bill. When the bill came I disconnected the line and she kept giving me the run around for months postponing any kind of payments. Her relatives won't give me any information and everytime I get her # she changes it and she's moved! This ruined my credit and eventually Verizon turned my cell phone off. I had to pay the money out of my pocket and now theres a negative rating on my credit due to this favor. I need to sue her and get my money back! How do I get our former employer to release her personal info so that I can contact the courts? What court do I go to? And what forms do I need? Help!!!!

I'm suffering from too much information. My husband and I want to start a 529 plan for our 10-year-old. We reside in Georgia but our income is too high for the tax break. So now we can choose any state. And we're going crazy looking at the choices. We've looked at Utah and at Iowa. We'd be putting in about $60,000 on day 1. Ideas to help us simplify our decision making? We're making this way too hard, I know! :)

I live in CANADA. I have been discharged from bankruptcy for one year and have been re-establishing credit for one year. Still getting turned down by banks. Need a loan of about $65,000 to purchase a RV to live in. RV Dealer of my choice makes most auto loan companies out of the question. Is there anywhere I can get a CANADIAN loan to buy a RV? I have a good job!

OK so I just found out that my mortgage company forced place insurance on me and now are trying to extort the money out of me. How do I prove to them that I had insurance at the time and get out of not having to pay for this insurance now. Is it just a matter of showing them that I had insurance at the time and that it did not lapse and they then have to take it off. Or will I still be charged for this???

My credit rating is 814. I am one of those people who has never had any problem. I pay my credit cards bill in full (I have never paid one cent in interest or late payments), paid my 30 yr mortgage off in 15 years and am perfect in all payments. (I'm in my 60's) My question is why is my score only 814? What would it take to get it to the top of 850? Thank you.

I thought you inherit things when somebody in your family dies.

Thank you in advance.

My husband and I are trying to straighten out our finances because we have a lot of debt (credit cards mostly) and we want to buy a house. Everyone tells us that getting a a debt consolidation loan will help because we can combine all of our debts into one monthly payment, but we kept getting turned down or offered a low amount because we have too much credit being used. What's the point of a debt consolidation loan if your too much in debt?
