I live in a big city, so rent in my neighborhood is at least 600 for a nice place.

I'm still in school, I go to college.

Is there a way? I don't have much money.

I know some friends who've moved to apartments and I didn't want to ask "Hey, where'd you get your money from to move out?"

So that made me think that there was a way. What do I need to have or to do? I know there's first and last months rent and insurance so that 600 becomes about 2 thousand.

I'll be 22 soon and have a part-time, will that be helpful?

It seems like you can't support yourself yet. . .finish your school first. . .if you really want to live in your own. . .the only way you can get good money is a job with good tips. . .and there is something in mind, but I don't think you'll go for it (stripping). . .

An approximate guideline is one week's salary out of the month to cover just the rent. At $600 a month for rent you'll need to make $2,400 a month minimum.

Don't forget bedding , furniture , cooking utincils(pots pans knives, fork, spoons dishes etc.), Food , laundry day etc.
$1000 per month is tough to servive on. 2500 pm can be tight if the situation happens.
