Easy...Call your bank and tell them you want to stop the automatic deduction. You'll then have to pay by mailing a check or pay on line.

1. Walk into a Verizon store and speak to someone.
2. Send a CERTIFIED letter to Verizon. The address for correspondence is NOT the same as the address for mailing payments.
3. The most effective way to stop anyone from directly debiting your checking account is to CLOSE the account and open a new one.
