Has anyone ever obtained unsecured loan from other countries?

Any "private lenders" claiming to be in the UK are probably scammers in Nigeria.

They will "approve" you for a loan but require you to pay a fee to them to secure the loan. If you pay the fee, they disappear.

Things to look out for:

1) If they are using a web based email address (Yahoo!, gmail, Hotmail, etc.) they are a scammer.
2) If they connacted you through this or any other message board, they are a scammer.
3) If they require you to pay any sort of fee to them upfront, they are a scammer.

Only if they are really stupid or in the Mafia. This is because they have no recourse if you do not pay (excepting the Mafia). No legitimate bank would loan money like this. Perhaps a business or casino would do this with a known favored customer.
