My credit isn't good enough to get an auto loan, so I had a family member co-sign for me and got the loan. Now, that family member is in a really bad spot and might have to file bankruptcy. I have made all my payments on time and can continue to do so, but I still can't get a loan in my name. What happens to my car?

My friend just asked me for money to pay his rent or he risks getting evicted. I have the money to cover it. However I was saving this money to pay off a some legal things because I have warrants for my arrest. Should I loan him the money or just say I don't have it and pay my warrant.

1. What are the total contributions allowed per year for each - IRA, Roth IRA and 401k? assuming the person is in his early 30's.

2. Let's say this individual wants to retire in his mid-50's, which funds can be withdrawn out of the 3, without any penalties?

3. Finally, can this person also get his Social Security income when he reaches in his 60's, while still living on his IRA, Roth IRA and 401K savings? can all 4 be an income source for this individual?

Many thanks! :)

They are going to put it back into my account, but because they did it without my knowing...I didn't have the money in the acct. Which means I have about 150.00 in overdraft fees that weren't my fault!!! The bank won't remove them because they say that Commerce should pay it for making the mistake. My question is, will Commerce bank pay for the OD fees they caused, or will I be out the money for their mistake??!?! :(

Does anyone know of any legitimate lenders who will help some with not so good credit. I need to consolidate bills and do have the ability to repay. I just need a second chance, if I don't I'll have to file bankruptcy and I don't want to be forced into that.

Does anyone know an easy way to set up a trust fund? I want to set one up for my nieces and nephews. I plan to put in after-tax money. I plan to front load the four of them with $1000 each. I am not sure if I will add more later, but I would like the option available if I decide I want to. I do not want to have to file any tax paperwork on them each year, and I do not want their parents to have to file paperwork either. It would be nice if I could set a date that would be the earliest they can be cashed in. When they are cashed in I would like them to have to do the tax paperwork (if any exists) not myself, and not their parents.

Does such a thing exist? If exactly what I want does not exist, is there anything close?

I would want the funds to mature for 23-25 years so all four of them would have to wait until they are 25 to cash in.

i am currently in debt and slowly eliminating it by paying for my most current accounts and ones that have a lower balance. because of this my two accounts with the highest balances have been sent to the collection agencies. i have tried to work things out with them, they were very rude making fun of the way i talk, telling me to go work at McDonalds because anyone can get a job there (i currently make $15/hr at a hospital but its a part time position.), they also tell me to hold and in the background i can hear them yell and laugh and the whole experience was very unprofessional. since i still have their letters on hand i have decided to just save up money until i have the full amount and then send it in. I was wondering if anyone out there knows what legal actions they could take against me during this period.

I am a sales rep for a large chemical company. I posted my resume on a job board to see what was out there and have gotten a few calls and an offer. My current job seems to lack upward mobility. I currently earn 48k , about 10k in bonus, company car with gas and insurance paid, cell phone paid, labtop with wireless, full tuition reimbursement which I am currently using to earn a masters degree. However, I was offered a job earning 60k plus commission, car for company use (not personal like my current job) and I would have to wait 1 year for reimbursement. I think that I can do really well on the commission schedule. However, I am worried about stopping classes for 1 year. I have 1.5 years left for my M.S. degree in Management. I am not struggling financialy but the extra money would be nice. Just worried about stopping the classes for 1 year.

I have been waiting for the chance to dress fresh (cool or hip or in style) I've been working at Zaxby's for almost 2 years and saved 85-90% just incase for family emergencies and I was always been told to save my money..... for what I'm only 17 years old and do not have any bills to pay and even if I saved my money, I still won't have enough to pay for college. So whats the point? If you have been in this situation please tell me how you handled it and after you graduate from high school, do you really need to have money saved to have a good start on life?

The only thing I have with them is a Visa. It has expired about 5 months ago but I haven't been issued a new one, I have an outstanding balance, but I make payments every month even though the card is expired.

What do you think this could be about? I called them, but their office is closed.
