okay......do i need a credit card to buy something off the internet or can i just use a checking account???.........if i can use a checking account what website can i go to, to do it......because i really wanna buy a costume!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can go to your bank and purchase a prepaid VISA card with a certain amount of money on it. That should hold you over until you get a credit card.

Normally you need a credit card. If you use a check, you will have to call the company, arrange to pay by check, place the order, mail the check and then wait for them to receive it and clear the bank before they ship the product. This may take 2-3 weeks.
You may be better off having a friend or relative pay with a credit card and you reimburse them with your check or cash.

You can use your debit card number but if the thieves get ahold of it they can clean out your entire checking account and you will most likely NEVER get it back .
Credit cards limit losses from fraud to $50 .
Use your checking account if you don't mind risking ALL your $$$$$ .

If you have a debit card you can use it to order on the internet. don't have one go to bank and get one.
