To tell you the truth, yes. I bought the original about 5 years ago, From that book, I learned that the key to success is to make money work for you and that you must understand business and finance terminology. He opened my eyes to the business world; I went to college and got an accounting and finance degree, earning a considerable salary and understanding how businesses work. I am investing most of my salary into passive income securities, soon I can quit my job and make my money work even harder.

Loved the book and the TV show he did. It's not for everyone since not everyone is financially stable enough to put it to work right away, but I think it helps goal-setting and long-term planning for those who can't immediately put it to work. I highly recommend it, so many people could benefit from the logic of it!
I've heard there was a class around them a while back that was also really good from a friend that took it. I haven't read the full series, but am looking forward to it.
Edit: Yes, he is a littke drama queen (on the TV show at least) and there may be other books with similar information (but at least this is an easy read). I really liked how it was presented very logically.

I would advise not wasting your time and money on this book(s). Robert Kiyosaki is a drama queen. Moreover, some of what he says is downright inaccurate IMO.
You may find a few valuable kernels of information from "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" but it's the sort of information you could get from other sources without so much fluff built around it.
By the way, you could get the book free from your public library. Duh!

the series isn't really about making money it is more mindset thinking and to be honest it doesn't really say anything, the books seem to be advertising to sell the other books. reading can't hurt but get them from the library
