We have a business acct. with Bank of America in CA. They are holding a check from Comerica for 14 business days and they will not release the funds. They have also charged us 1000.00 in NSF fees. We have proof from Comerica that the check cleared the next day and they still will not release the funds. All the NSF fees came after the check really did clear, they said there is nothing they can do and they hung up on us.

My bf just called me to tell me about my credit score and things on my credit report.
He called up an agency telling them that I wanted to take out a personal loan. he gave them my social security # and then they called back and told him my credit score and what was on my credit report.... I have never spoken to these people so I never gave them my permission to do this... What can I do?

OK i have decent credit, 1 bad mark among several good. I asked my bank for a 7,000 loan for a car, they cited that bad mark as reason to deny the loan.
I have family that offered to put a new nissan350z up as collateral to help get me the loan. Is that enough motivation for the bank? A car worth 30g's as collateral for a 7,000 car?

HSBC Credit cards offer an 2.5% surcharge refund on buying at petrol stations. Does this mean that buying at petrol stations using Credit Card is cheaper than Cash? Or is it that this surcharge is only for Credit Card purchases at the petrol station? Whether this kind of surcharge is only for Petroleum products or it is levied for all types of purchase at all shops when using Credit Card?

I am in a tight spot. I am wanting to buy my house. I have a decent credit score and 8 years on my job. Here is my problem: I pay a good deal of child support which brings my debt ratios way up. To offset the loss of income, I foster parent, and do quite well budgeting it. I also have income from a small business, but it is less than a year old and companies do not want to count it. Foster income I have been told will not count as income, so it looks on paper that I cannot pay my bills. I have no problem doing so month after month. I need approximately 10k to complete my deal. Any thoughts?
