HSBC Credit cards offer an 2.5% surcharge refund on buying at petrol stations. Does this mean that buying at petrol stations using Credit Card is cheaper than Cash? Or is it that this surcharge is only for Credit Card purchases at the petrol station? Whether this kind of surcharge is only for Petroleum products or it is levied for all types of purchase at all shops when using Credit Card?
