ive always wanted to be a pilot ever since i can remember. my dad and i have always been interested in planes and aviation. my dads dream was to become a pilot but he never did, i want to become a pilot and i always have, but along with fulfilling that dream for me i also want to do it for my dad (he died about 3 years ago). my best friend says he wants to become a pilot and he knows that was my dream also. i am not that great in math and i wear contacts so im already at a disadvantage for getting into the USAF. my friend is pretty good at math and honestly, if he became a pilot and i didnt i would be crushed. i do not know how i could watch my best friend live my dream. what should i do, and if he does become a pilot which has always been my dream how will i cope with this!! if i do not become this i will feel like a failure to myself and to my father.

Hi. I am planning on starting a non profit helping local children. There is no organization helping out with this specific problem locally so I expect many children will be in need of this service. I would need to devote 100% of my time to this and would continue running it for years to come. My question is about earning a salary. If I start it I will be the President of the the board since I have all the ideas to start. Since board members don't make a salary, can I also be CEO? How do I go about running the org and being able to pay my bills? I don't need info on how to start a non profit, just how I can run things and earn a salary. Thanks a lot.

I worked for a company for six months, but I recently had to leave because my supervisor was sexually and racially harassing me and the owners of the business refused to do anything. Now, I'm looking for a new job. Of course, I understand the red flags that must go up in a prospective employers head if I tell them I left my previous job because I had such serious issues with my boss, but I know it will also look bad if I say I've been unemployed for the last six months. Should I just make up some lie about what I've been doing the last 6 months? Any comments or suggestions? If anybody out there is a employer, I'd greatly appreciate your opinion.
Thanks alot!

I worked for a non-profit organization for 12 years and because I quit, honorably, they now are saying their retirement plan is ONLY for those who retire at 62-65 and who they choose to offer it to. This is majorly screwing up my retirement plans and I am not sure where to turn. Should I sue? When do I bring legal action? When I am ready to retire? I'm lost.

Hells Kictchen, a bar/restauraunt just opened up here in my town. The ad actually uses the word "damn" a couple of times. Then the ad proceeds to tell applicants to turn in a resume that is homemade and creative as we wish. So would that mean I could handwrite it (neatly and well organized)? I think that if its already unconventional, that it would be fine. I feel a lot can be expressed in handwriting, and they did say homemade...
please help! :) Thank you in advance all.

I might get hired at a deli and work there overnight. The pay starts at $10.01 an hour. I'm only 18 and the most I got paid at a job was $7.50. I've figured it out that I would get $1,601.06 a month before taxes. Is that good pay for someone my age?

i have cancer and got fired from my last place of employment due to missing work for surgeries. I had given them a doctors note for every absence. It just seems like when i was looking for employment before people were calling back but this time i have only received one call for an interview. I don't like to lie but i feel this is hurting me. I also don't want a prospective employer to think im lazy and haven't worked the past year.
Is there anyway that they could find out where my last place of employment was if i dont tell them ?

I currently work in retail but am looking for a new job. A couple of years ago I chose to opt out of Sunday working, is this going to be an option wherever I work or is it up to the employer? I am looking for a full time job, but more like 35 hours a week, rather than the 42+ hours that I work now.
