job for the past year and a half. Should I still put my job before or do I just put that one?

I've seen people who've been at the present employer for 20 years & they will list previous employers.

As long as the job has some relevance, you should list it. Even if it's not relevant, it will still show a work history beyond a year & a half.

Most companies will accept up to 10 years prior. Whether or not you moved from job to job, but only for the past 10 years.
But if you are going to work for a company the requires you to get a security clearance, they might ask you as far back as to the day of creation. LOL

Usually prospective employers want to see some history.
But certainly no more than 5 years is required most times.
They want to know if you are reliable & can be trusted.
They're also looking for gaps, be prepared to explain any.

The more references you have the better. Most places want at least three verifiable ones. Just don't go over two pages.

I've always been told the 3 previous places of employment, if you have 3 or more. If you have less then put all of them.

you should go back 10 years....but keep the resume to no more than 2 pages if possible....
