My original choice was to be a nurse or pharmacist but I don't really care for hard sciences. Basic biologys and maths are what I enjoy. Should I give up on the medical field and find something else. I've been out of school for a year (I'm 19 years old) and I need to decide soon!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! THANKSSSS SOOO MUCH

I work part-time in the mornings, and the company hired another part-time worker for the afternoons. We share the same desk. I didn't mind her putting her things on the desk or pictures, etc, but she started moving my things which kinda irked me, since I have been there 7 years. So I moved them back. The next day she would move them again. I never see her to tell her to leave my stuff be. What is her deal?!

this is a professional environment, not a place that hires unskilled workers, would u fight a new dress code if it seemed arbitrary? please assume that u will continue to work there for at least a year and not just leave!

I am 20, almost 21 years old and for certain reasons I haven't been able to get a job until now. I am worried that I won't get anything above Taco Bell since I don't have work experience. I would be a good worker (hopefully a waiter) and I wanted to know how I could get around my lack of experience. My dad owns a business and would vouch for me but can I also make up businesses and put my friends cell phones who will act like the owners? I'm not trying to trick anyone because I know I will work harder than most people with as much experience as I want to fake. Only serious answers please.

I can understand there are jobs posittions that you got to come in neatly, showered and/or well dressed. But not all jobs.
I am having problems trying to keep my jobs. Reasons do not seem truthful.
I enjoyed riding my bike. It keep you in fit and keeps your weight down. With gas prices that are approaching four-dollars, I have allot better plan to spend my money. Infact plan to ride my bike through my working life.
My brother says the employers rather hire people who drive their cars than the bike riders.
What do you think?

see,the admission to U is only in July & I`ve gone to an interview today & I got a job but unfortunately, i don`t have a car, so therefore need to depend on my father to transport me here & there. When I accept the job already, he said he can`t because the place`s just too far away.

This always happens. I got a job, the time`s not right & my dad can`t bring me there.. so , I`ve stayed at home for God knows how long..from December to now & I`m getting sick of it. All my friend has a job except for me...

Am I a failure for not having a job????

As you all know from the recent finance news that ABN Amro is going to sell its assets to either Barclays or Royal Bank of Scotland.
In addition, they are also thinking about selling their La Salle Bank Division to Bank of America or not.
With all this in mind, I am sure once the merger completes, there will be layoffs and job cuts.

My dilemma is that I have recently accepted a position with ABNAMRO and now there are merger talks.
I do have another offer from another company but it is a contract job ( 1 year).

I am not able to figure out what to do since I see ABNAMRO hiring more and more employees every single day.

Would you leave or would you stay?

Am I not going to the right website? I tried reportillegals.com were you can report either illegals or the employers that hire them but they are charging $10 for it. Is this legit? Is there another website I can go to?

Please no rude comments. The reason I am researching this is because I recently found out that there is a company hiring illegals and treating them really bad with long hours and very very low pay, which I think is wrong. I know these people aren't suppose to be here but they have no right to treat them as though they are slaves...they are humans too.

I don't know what is wrong with her - She and most of the women in this office are very overweight. They keep this office very unreasonably cold. The average temperation is 68 degrees.

The window in my room is sealed shut and no work orders for repairs are being processed at this time.

I tried closing my vents but she came into my office one day and popped them open, saying, "You have expensive equipment and it cannot overheat."

I AM MISERABLE!

I am to the point of quitting because I am uncomfortable every day. A sweater cannot keep my icy fingers warm, my nose from running, or my feet from turning into blocks of ice.

I have mentioned the cold situation before and I get picked on for being 'too skinny.' Nobody will adjust the thermostat for me. When I up it, my boss scampers up as fast as her pudgy butt will allow and she turns it down again.

Help?
