We can't even handle illegal immigration on the mainland, what makes you think we'll do a better job of handling it in Hawaii.

But to answer your question, the requirements to work in Hawaii are the same as the mainland of the United States, just because it's in the South Pacific doesn't make it any different. It is a state you know.

You go to your local Immigration Office and get the required legal papers. You want to come here illegally? Good luck and get ready for some serious abuses by the employer or getting busted for being here illegally and going right back home.
