Keep it short and simple, something along the lines of:
Because I've accepted a new position elsewhere, my last day of employment will be XXX. (try to give 2 weeks notice).
Thank you for the opportunities that have been presented to me during my employment here, and I appreciate the knowledge I have gained during my time at the XYZ Company.
