I think this is a suitable career for me, I love history and English, how might I pursue my goal? I'm currently a HS sophomore and plan on taking a journalism class next year.

Until then, how can I learn more about what this career is all about? Do people get burned out after a decade or so of it?

Sorry for all the questions, any info on this would be greatly appreciated. I know it doesn't make much money, but doing what you love and enjoy is more important than getting a whopper pay check for a job you hate.

Hello I am 17 and a senior. I had braces for 3 yrs and I like to become an orthodontist assistant. As a patient I like the environment and feel that part of that comfort was from the orthodontist assistances. I have done research over the internet and didn't get the answers to my questions. Only the job descriptions they hold. But I have searched pass questions and is the pay really 15$. I would like to help improve people smiles. I just want to hear from someone who is in the orthodontics field. Also what kind of training is required. I would appreciate for any help I get.
Thank You.

at work i feel pushed around alot by coworkers and my manager makes me feel stupid sometimes(he is an asshole!) but any way, im not sure what im supposed to do. i guess i take everything personally. and i feel like an ant if i cant defend myself or be as big of an asshole as another person. should i try to become just as mean as they r so i can defend my self and feel comfortable?

Okay so I am really have not been self motivated with college...and I wanted to major in business...and I have to take accounting even though if im not majoring in it...and wow its so frustating and boring... especially if u dont read on a regular basis...and I am like 300 pages away from getting back on track...and the drop date is april i believe...and i have not done well...the job market is not even good anyways unless if its like financing or acct....which im not doing ...soo i wouldnt want to rely on this degree..i keep hearing nursing or law enforcement...as careers...easier to get a job in general...what r some careers that dont require much math...and is exciting and good pay...i mean if ur gonna be a marketing manager do u have to be a business major? I mean I want to have a backup plan like everyone else...to fall back on..so im not sur eif i want to major in that...

Hi:

I am currently getting ready to graduate college with an accounting degree here in May. In my job search I am considering the Federal Government as the Private sector generally centers recruitment efforts in the Fall.

I would easily qualify for the GS-7 payscale.

Only problem I have with the Federal Government is that they pay less than private companies here. I am wondering if benefits (health insurance, etc) and other items mitigate that gap?

Is it a wise choice to considering working for the Feds?

Thank you.

Just now i called my potential employer about career opportunities and she ask me to send her a resume. I was stupid enough to ask whether a cover letter is needed and she said it would be better if i send one. So I sent my resume along with a cover letter via email. In my cover letter I stated that I'll call back to explore any career opportunities with them, so when I should call back and what should i ask or say??? I'm very sure that her company has opening because I was referred to her by my friend and what i know from my friend is she is facing an issue that the company might be taken over by a foreign investor so she dare not take in anyone at the moment even though they are short of people because it might affect their work permit in the future. The deal might be finalized in April and how can i use this situation to my advantage??

My supervisor is unfair and unprofessional. She train well male counterparts while ignore me and let me do my own way of understanding of the job. She even use my reports like she's the one who made it and present it to the next level boss. She scans my email and my local pc without permission with nothing to investigate but my personal life. When she can't find errors on my report, she resort to personal scrutiny. I really love my job but I hate my supervisor to the bones. I just want an enjoyable life and lead my career path to something fun. How do i exit with a bang? I mean, let the boss know what my supervisor has done/been doing. We don't have much exposure but I want her to know my side before I leave the company. She's such a sucker for my supervisor's opinion.

I'm moving out west from Chicago to Los Angeles at the end of 2007

My question concerns job outlook

I work a decently well paying customer service position here in Chicago and I'm concerned about finding similar employment in Los Angeles.

I have a degree (in the arts), but I also have work experience and I'm not trying to "make it" as anything career wise but do want to be involved in the entertainment industry. Is it more difficult to find work in Los Angeles?

There is an employee where I work believes she is in charge of everything and demands others to tell her everything about their work.

This includes what each employee earns, which I feel is none of her business.

Whenever we have meetings, she interrupts anyone who is talking and tells them to keep quiet because they are wrong and making fools of themselves.

She wants everything done her way even if it has nothing to do with her job. She will argue and shout if you don't listen.

She constantly monitors the security cameras to spy on everyone. If she see someone talking to one of the bosses, she races out to barge in on the meeting so see can listen to everything being said.

I go to College right now and I work at a job for 8 hours a day 2 times a week. I do assembly line work and It is very very boring and slow. I found the only way I can make time go any faster is if I keep my mind occupied and relaxed. Problem is I usually do this by accident. I feel as though I will freak when I have to do this job full time over the summer. So for those people who do boring work all the time, how do you keep yourself occupied so the day doesnt suck so bad!

Is my account still active or did they automatically canceled it? Or even worse, will it mess up my credit or something?

Hi I am very interested in starting a poop scooping business but need to find out some of the details like pricing, types of insurance, etc. I would love to get my hands on the book called The Professional Pooper-Scooper that I've seen online but it costs $50 and I refuse to pay that much for a book. Unfortunately, it's the only book that I've been able find that is dedicated to this profession. Anyone have any ideas on where I can find the info I'm looking for?

Can any one help me please?

I am a registered nurse but my license has been suspended by the state for a period of six month.

I am a single mom and I have two boys to feed, there is no way I can stay for six months jobless.

While I was searching on the web I found a program called duvet dollars at (http://ukweli.com/make-money.html) which claim to show a way to make a lot of money on the net.

I personally not convinced that you can really make $600 every night even while a sleep. Just imagine if this is real.

I really not sure what to do so I'm asking your opinion on this. Please visit the page above and see if it is legit and let me know.

I will appreciate your reviews.
