Coding insurance claims for the medical industry is a good one, but it does require some training. The training is usually available at community colleges. They might even be able to hook you up with a contact to get work.

I am not too sure about data entry, but I have a great career that I do from home. It is in the health care field and is mostly computer work. The company is really great and offers a 401k and benefits plan as well as full training and support. It is very rewarding as I get to help others every day and make a great living doing it. I will be happy to share more information if you are interested.

I am also disabled so I know what you are talking about. Don't do surveys though, trust me. It's not worth the time it takes.
Here are two sites where you can find legitimate work. Go to http://www.guru.com or http://www.rentacoder.com Both of those site are free and you bid on jobs that are of interest of you. The nice thing about it is that you are not tied down to a JOB and you can pick and choose what ever you like! Depending on your skills you could do very well.
I have been scammed many times and I know what to look for so be very wary of the answers you get, I have noticed a lot of people referring others to MLM, and other scams. Trust your gut and don't fall for it! Trust me, I've been there and done that. There are better ways.
Affiliate marketing is also another way to earn a great living online. Click on my avatar to visit my profile for more information if you are interested! I am averaging about 50 - 100 a day. Not to shabby! :)
Good luck to you and I hope you find what you are looking for!
This needs to be repeated! Please avoid paid survey and surf for money sites as most of those are scams. Also be very carefull about MLM programs as most of the time you have to recruit people to join under you to make any money. YUK!

Well, surveys won't make you an income, but I can usually make $20 a month that way, sometimes a little more--and you can also make more by referring others (with some sites, not all).
I've have information about the ones I've actually been paid through here:
http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys
...and info on how to recognize and avoid scams here:
http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys/avoidscams.html
If you are artistic you can sell prints, t-shirts, mugs, and other stuff with your artwork for free at the following sites:
www.cafepress.com , www.printfection.com , www.zazzle.com
People shop their store and if they buy something with your design you get a commission or a mark-up. They print it when people order it. It's easy to do...but you have to do a lot of promotion yourself to make money off of it. I know people who make an income doing that there though.

I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and I made $1,300+ so far this month and over $850 last month. They are free to join.
Please click my screen name or avatar for more information and a link for proof of payment.
And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.
