I never done it. i'm not a talker,, i'm a quiet guy. But those are the most abundant jobs in my city, for some reason.

i mean, aside from the fact i can't speak like what is expected , i know computers and filing and all that.

I'm looking for entry level jobs and receptionist is the only thing available
But they always want receptionist to be bubbly and jumpy.

So if i'm not talktive and outgoing, is it even worth it to try reception..cause that's the only thing there is..so i must try no?

i'm 20, might get a decent paying summer internship about an hour from my house (with traffic). It'd be easier to commute, but I've never lived on my own and don't know if it would be worth it. Also, I have like NO social life and not really any friends and don't know whether I'd keep sane without having people to talk to.

O.k. I must confess, I spend way too much time online when I should be working. Please let me know if there are other people who are guilty of being online way too much at work!

Has anyone had an invoicing & order entry job? I had an interview for an admin. assistant (invoicing & order entry) and they said when you get comfy with doing that you'll be checking up on customers for satisfaction ect...so some customer service in addition to the invocing stuff.

What is it like to do that kind of work? What exactly do you do when you invoice people? I'm an experienced office professional/admin. assistant. I love working with computers/microsoft office/filing/faxing ect...I dont know if I would be happy doing just invocing/order entry/cust. service work.
But..i'm at a temp job that is ending in a few months, and this invoicing job would be permanent w/benefits, small office, casual. Its like everything I want except I dont know if I would be good at or like the work.

Any suggestions on what the positon may be like ect?

Aren't employers required to give 15 minute breaks for every 4 hours worked? And if they don't who do you report it to? OSHA or Labor Relations? (not a union company). thank you!!
