i need to know how to be a good waitress, just got the job and start on monday, help
any tips ?

I always appreciate a good waitress and tip accordingly. Here are my preferences:
1. Get me a menu and drink order right away.
2. Don't let my drink run dry
3. Give me a few minutes between appetizer, salad and main course, don't make me feel like you're trying to rush me out the door.
4. Don't screw up my order
5. Ask me how everything is, but NOT while I have a mouthful of food
6. Be attentive, but not a constant presence

ok first be nice do you know how to take orders =shorthand watch the others its a fast fast job and be care full so no dishes get broke. get to know your menu your customers will appriciate that and hey congrats and good luck smiles get bigger tips!!!
