I worked for a small company and one day my boss came into work and tried giving me my co-workers assignments. My co-worker said that was her work and asked why she was giving it to me and that I already had a heavy work load. I agreed and told my boss that once I complete my work that I would help my co-worker. My co-worker asked my boss why did she try to give me her work. My boss yelled and said because, "(My name), does not have any work". I told my boss why would she tell my coworker that and I told her the work that I was doing. She told me if I did not like it I should leave. So I left.

Now I am looking for work and want to know what to put down as the reason for leaving.

I have never in my life left a job. I just felt that if my boss did not appreciate the work that I was doing, or felt that I was not being productive enough. Then it was best for me to leave and work for a company where we both can benefit from my skills.

Paycor is a payroll service provider with it's corporate headquarters located in Cincinnati Ohio. It has a turnover rate of over 50% with it's employees. It's a horrible place to work. Beware.

I am looking into starting a 6 month catering management program online. I would like to start my own catering business one day, but first I would need to get some experience working with or for someone. Can anyone tell me what types of positions or places would offer me the experience that I would need? I know that there is more out there than just working for a catering company I just don't know what there is.

I'm terrible at interviews, everytime I get asked "name a time where you have overcome a great obstacle in your job or personal life" or "a difficult challenge"- I freeze. Even when I practice my answers at home before the interview, I still can't come up with anything for these answers. I mean, I've been through a lot in my life and going through that has shown me that certain problems which may be "challenging" or "difficult" to some, I simply shrug off as " it happens." This however leaves me with no answer. Should I use personal triumphs over hardships during interviews or exaggerate work related problems so they seem greater then what they were? Any advice, examples anything would be great!
