Yes. Realize that each and every task, no matter how humble they may seem, serves a much greater purpose and importance.

And ironically enough, when you are older, still very vital! And retired, you may actually miss this job. There might be something good about it, that either hasn't happened yet, or you have noticed.

In the meantime, if this is a paying job we are talking about, be glad of the paycheck! Thankful, right? Or if not, the fruits of whatever you have produced.

Keeping you're eye on only the rewards will make it even more tedious and boring, if that is all you are in it for, but i doubt that.

So what you are producing, along with the job are what's really important.

You are adding something to the world. That's beats fruitlessly taking away, at any rate. I think even the people who think they do that add much more than they think. Everybody has a right to be here.

And some day, if it turns out you don't like it, you will be free of it. But you will have become a stronger person from it someday, almost without even ever realizing where that strength has come from!

You should specify what tasks are you talking are about .The first thing, you should have enough rest before you perform any task.Start with task that you think is boring but use priority {I mean if you have to do it] break it into small pieces.Lets say you are digging a hole in rocky area. You need to divide the rock into small pieces than deal with one piece at a time until the whole rock is out.
When it is possible bring your headphones play some music if it is a routine.Keep your self singing if you can't play music,Involve your colleagues if possible.YOU HAVE TO REST

Maybe ask to job shadow someone else or ask to take on more or different responsibilities at your work? But of course, why take on more if you wont get paid more right?? Sometimes more work is worth it just to change up your routine a bit.
Also, for the fun of it, try doing your work differently. are you right handed? try it with your left hand instead. Are you at a desk? re arrange it, change up the routine a bit. If you answer phones, put a little more spunk into your voice or get cheesy with things. It always helped me to enjoy my boring job at least until I decided to quit and find something better! It might be immature at times, but it sure helped to find a new reaction compared to same old thing each day.

Reward yourself with a cup of coffee or a healthy snack after you do a certain number of tasks. Set a goal for yourself and see how many tasks you can do in 1 hr, for example. Perhaps it is time to look for a new job that is less boring.

Doing boring task and doing routine are done for a purpose. if you have set your goal and you have decided to do so. then why it it should be boring. actually it is not boring it is reaching you to your glorious goal which you have set for your self. actually you have trade your passion for glory. don't be afraid. emphasize on things which attract your interest and treat doing boring job as its cost it is so exciting. like this you become passionate about thing despite how much it boring could be.

Make it a game/competition. I used to have to copy entire binders of paper into new binders. I liked to see if I could finish each section before the last was done. It's just busy work, it always sucks. But I was extremely productive.
