I have a dilemma- you see, I have enormous gaps in employment, primarily due to my OCD. I have been unable to maintain work for longs period of time, although now, I am much better, and I am ready to work again. In any event, I will have to explain the gaps in time listed on my Resume to interviewers. So this begs the question, should I tell potential employers about my OCD?

I thought I always wanted to work in the medical field. I am doing my internship right now. But the more I think about it I think I am not doing what I was meant to do. But I am getting older, and I really still don't know what I want to do. Has or is anyone got this same problem? And if so what did you do about it? I feel so worthless sometimes. PLease help......Cannot get it together.

In business or in every day life.
Some of us are models, some of us are not eligible to take part in beauty contests, and some are just plain scary. It is said that a first good impression is a key to success.
So how much would the beauty factor weigh to have a successfull life?

I have a written salary agreement with my employer and it's current president. He plans to sell the company within the next year or 2. In the event there is a change in the presidency of the company will my contract become void? It is called a bonus program and is based on 10% of the previous years salary to be paid semi monthly . It states the agreement will remain in effect for the duration of employment unless re-negotiated by the President of the company.

I just started working at Food Lion last week being paid 6.50 an hr. I was concerned if the minimum wage is raised to the 7.25 an hr today that the House is voting on, would they possibly terminate me because they can't afford to pay every worker 7.25? Right now, I'm the newest worker there. Any thoughts?

I worked for the same company for nearly 6 years and in this time i have never taken my full holiday entitlement due to the constant high amount of work and presure to get jobs finnished. It was always very hard to see how many holidays i had left as i could never get a straight answer from my boss and i very rarely got any of my pay slips. Since leaving the company i cannot get hold of my boss but he is disputing what i am owed (wages, expenses, holiday pay)
