Where can I found REAL resources on becoming a mystery shopper?
Anyone been one before? If so, how easy/hard was it to make around $800/month?

The best resource to check out is the National Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA) http://www.mysteryshop.org , an organization of mystery shopping companies. Check out their listing of shopping assignments by country and by state from member companies. Some of the listings may be outdated, but the companies listed in their database are usually the biggest companies in the industry and most importantly, legitimate. Companies are accepted as members of the association only if they have been in existence for two years and they can submit proof of business existence. Make a list of these companies and check out their requirements to be a mystery shopper.

If in doubt, double-check the company with the local Better Business Bureau http://www.bbb.org , usually under the Service Intelligence category. Find out if any complaints have been lodged with the mystery shopping company, before agreeing to do work for them.

I relatively have executed some secret shops. there is that this kind of element as a secret customer certification. it is in keeping with what share powerful shops you do and how nicely you do them. the sturdy assignments visit the experienced clientele. I shopped a rapid nutrition eating place. It paid $8 plus a huge Bufford combination. I had to be taught, take a quiz, get stuff mailed to me, do the shop in an fairly small window of time, show myself to the administrative, award pins, then rigidity abode. It replaced into no longer nicely worth it. I seen some thrilling gasoline station shops. They despatched a huge instruction manual that replaced into very complicated for winding up the shop. ultimately, I e mail them and despatched the components back. the shop replaced into purely no longer nicely truthfully worth the money or attempt. i does no longer pay that money. i think of Yahoo has a secret clientele group the place assignments are published by potential of e mail. you are able to wait an fairly lengthy time till there's a save close adequate to end and the practise for each save is a real soreness. it relatively is not any longer nicely truthfully worth the attempt.

I registered with mysteryshop.org but never ended up taking any assignments because it seemed like a lot of work for very little money.
