I would some day like to look into becoming a lego designer - creating lego sets for children round the world.
1 - How would I get a job with Lego? There is currently no job openings here in Canada according to the Lego site.
2 - What courses should I take?
3 - Where would I have to live to be a lego designer for the company?

Help would be appreciated.

Is being a pharmacist at a grocery store stressful? If so how, all they do is talk to patients and fill prescription bottles?

I pick-up my 2 girls (11monthes and 5 yrs. old), from Pre-school and by the time I get home it's sometimes 6-6:30 pm. At this point there has been no bathes, nor a good supper and I don't get to spend quality time with my girls. My husband works 1:30 pm til' 10:00 pm, so I'm home alone to get it all done and get them tucked in. I still house work, and NO time for just me....Is there any jobs out there that I could do, to give my girls more that they deserve from me, including my husband? I'm so tired and stressed all the time....Help, Please?!

Hello:

I'm 42 end of this year. I have two kids 10 & 13 and their college $ is largely saved already. Wondering how much I need to reasonably retire at 45? By then my kids will be 13 and 16. I also have a wife who makes virtually no money.

I intern for a small company and just made a big mistake by accidentally sending a vendor's info to a client (not good). My boss caught it and did damage control, but I still feel really bad. I've apologized, and I think everything's going to be ok, but are there any suggestions for anything else I can do? And suggestions in case we lose this business as a result?!?! Then I would feel awful!

The real reasons were that it was a huge commute (50 miles each way), I have a health issue and seeing my doctor meant missing an entire day because of the drive (the drive itself, did my health no favors). Also, the political environment was changing and becoming difficult to work within. I had an opportunity to leave and doing contract work from home while I look for another "real" job nearer to home.

I guess it's the particular phrasing that I'm having a problem detailing. I want to be honest but not ruin my chances. I don't want to say the commute was a problem because travel to conferences is often a part of my job. I don't want to say health problems because my health is well-managed but I need to see doctors monthly or more. I don't want to look like an opportunist who'll leave for contracting work. I'm only doing contract work as a way to sustain me until I can find a job at a local company or in city government. Thanks!

My brother was terminated from his job last Friday. One of the girls was accusing him of him saying things about her to the office and warehouse personnel.

About three weeks prior to him being fired, he made a mistake on an invoice but this was cleared off... because of that problem my brother asked to be transferred to another department to avoid any conflicts with her...

This Friday, she wrote an email not to her boss, but to her boss's boss saying that she heard he was saying things about her... without hearing my brothers side of the story... he was called into the office and had a conference call with the main boss and was terminated.

Is this legal? There is no proven cause that he was indeed saying things about her? Can this be considered wrongful termination?

Thanks in advance... any help will be appreciated!

I have a friend that has not been working for more than 2 years after he left his previous job. He is 28 years old. Recently, he started to find jobs and worried the interviewer might pop up a tough questiion like "what have you been doing during these 2 years" for him.

He intend to take like 2-3 months long break after he left his previous job but eventually lead to 2 years or so. He doesnt do any temp jobs or courses to upgrade himself during his "free time".

Should he tell the interviewer honestly that he has done nothing or perhaps a better solution from the folks in here that could advise him what to do.

Thanks!
