I am thinking of trying to be a CNA for awhile to see if I like it.
How hard is the RN exam? My BA is in English. I am worried I will not get into nursing school bc I have only have very basic math/science. Does the job as a nurse involve a lot of math & science on a daily basis???

I'll be graduating high school this year and am leaning towards going to Lincoln Tech for their pharmacy technician program for an associates degree. What I'd like to know is,

1. Is it worth paying for Lincoln tech (13k-15k full degree) to get into this field?

2. I read somewhere that you don't need to take schooling to become a technician. How does that work then? What are the standards for application into a pharmacy as a tech in hospitals, rite aids/CVS? Could someone fresh out of highschool jump into Pharm Tech? If so, how?

I am a multi-tasking queen at work. Just some of my duties include: entering purchase orders for all retail stores in chain, create the corporate newsletter, designing merchandising signs for all stores, dealing with in-house, and warranty repairs. These are only the highlights. It is kind of vague, but I do feel odd posting something pertaining to my place of employment on-line.

I've been looking on places like careerbuilder and monster.com and a lot of the jobs (mostly marketing/sales jobs that pay really well) only require that you have a 4 yr degree, and maybe 1-2 years experience. I've even come across some jobs that only want you to have atleast a bachelors degree (or Bachelor of Science). Now I'm in college and the field that I'm going into (Psychology) isn't a field that is in high demand right now. So after going to those job sites I started to feel a little better about what I could do with my Psych degree. So is there any truths to this at all, and for those that have a degree but aren't working in that field would you please explain your experience??

I have been with a company for over 3 years and I really love it however, my position has been eliminated. I have a job interview within the company tomorrow for a position that will take me down a totally new career path and I'm really nervous. I'm rusty at answering interview questions such as:

1. What are your weaknesses

2. How would you handle a situation in which you had to persuade someone to work on a project that they did not want to?

3. How do you handle conflict in the work place?

Serious answers only please. Help! Oh, and wish me luck! ;o)

I asked a question about this job interview earlier today. Now I am re-phrasing it. (see above). Is common courtesy not so common anymore? I mean seriously. All I want to know is, am I still in the running or not. Am I still under consideration for the position?

What does that really mean when it reads like "must have proven accounting experience"??

Does that mean all the work experience you mention in the resume must be provided with a referee to prove that they are true??
