Can you be employed as firefighter and go to school for a bachelors degree in Accounting?????

Sure. My husband is a firefighter (24 on, 48 off) and goes to college full time. He time trades with other fire fighters to bank time to go to class on shift days.

Yes! Some departments have paid per-Diem positions. on call firefighter, you get paid for calls that you respond on. If you plan on being employed as a full time firefighter with a department remember there is a lot of training involved to maintain a certain skill level, depending on your situation, are you going to school full time and working part time or are you working full time and going to school part time. regardless you can make it work! you could minor in firescience and major in accounting

Dude, that's what i am trying to do also. Just make sure you have alot of your classes that you got to take at school, at a certain time, the other classes just take them online.
