Wow. Lots of warnings. Sooo many are hype. Get the idea
that as a child of Heaven you are quality material. The good
people that you have made friends with should show the grade.
There are topics like are you up to the market in performance.
Do you want the good job or the freedom? Planning work is
and should be a decision that is your own. What you like to
do, I agree with conceptual peace, dedication, trust, truth and
christian moral life. Well you have to have some training too.

I am in the same boat as you. I want something with a future and be able to be happy at the same time doing it. I am going to watch the movie "The Secret" and read some self help books to clear my mind and let the ideas come. I am going to start with figuring out what my passions are in life and go from there. Employment Triage:
a) What do you enjoy doing? If you are going to do it 40 hrs. per, you might as well have some fun.
b) Where do people encourage you? They are more objective in observing your skills.
c) What are you effective at? Effectiveness leads to job satisfaction and promotion.
