This is a boy who made an 'A' in mathematics and a long chain of 'B's at the West African Secondary School Certificate Exams. I want him to do something related to Computers, he wants to do either medicine or chemical engineering. I know doctors are hot cake in Ghana, but it is not easy entering the medical school. But as a chemical engineer, what are the prospects?

The FAA has frozen Controller pay for 5 years. They start new trainees at 8 something an hour. This is a short career. They force you out at 56 just when other careers are reaching their peak earning period. No respect for employees at all. They can cancel the vacation you have already paid for at the last minute. They think there are a lot of people available to replace the retiring experienced controllers. They will soon find that the candidates who could actually do this rather difficult and complicated job are capable of making a living elsewhere, with less stress on their physical and mental health. Not to mention better hours. The job market is pretty tight for smart, dedicated people right now. The unemployment rate is quite low. People that wanted to be controllers are now turning down the job due to the anti-worker mentality of the FAA. GOOD LUCK FLYING PUBLIC !!

Im new to this site. I find it comforting that there are actually people out there willing to answer this question. I was deaf for years and now that I've had my cochlear implant I am really wondering.... how much work do you actually do, at work? Do you bust your chops and find it pays in the end? Do you slack? I don't work in a normal situation. I work where major cut throats exist and you get very little satisfaction from what you do or who you are. If I could I'd become a paramedic tomorrow just to do something worthwhile but I know the pay stinks. So I stay in the computer field. So how much work do you do....at work?

After a recent incident at work, it has come to light that several people have lied to protect themselves including my employer and I told the truth. I feel niave and a bit stupid, although I know I did the right thing. Should I bust them or let it be?

I live in Ohio. I am leavibg next September. I am a very quiet person. I want to relocate to a state where there are jobs and the weather is nice and crime is low. I am a hard working woman so work does not throw me. I went to corpus christi texas this year and I really enjoyed it. Needless to say it left me woth a very good imoression of Texas. i really enjoyed. But I am open to all options. I want to start a new beginning and I am eager to get going. My daughter is a junior in college so I am looking forward to relocating.
But I am looking for a place I can work and has jobs. I am a survivor.

My person is a compulsive talker. Every time I walk past him, he wants to start a conversation with me, no matter how busy I am. And the real problem is that, once he starts talking, he never stops. Everything could be burning down all around us, and he would still keep on talking and talking. After I just get tired of listening, I'll be walking away, but guess what, he'll still be talking and talking, even as I'm turning the corner. Do you have any psychos like this where you work?

Tomorrow is my last day in this job. This woman has made my life miserable ever since I started - in fact, she is the reason I'm leaving. Other than giving her manager a detailed list of the things she does which flout the company rules, what else can I do to get revenge on her when I leave? The trickiest, sneakiest and most intelligent answer gets my ten points. Have fun!

My company credits each employee with 20 days at the start of the year. Effectively, they are not earned until the end of the year. If an employee resigns before the end of the year and has used more days than accrued, can a company legally demand repayment for those days?

I’m temping at the moment, in an absolute mess. The permanent secretary’s back next week and my boss says, “Before you leave, we’ll make it nice and tidy for Lauren’s return!” Whilst I had to sit here all this time in chaos and mess and then she says this on top of it! Blooming cheek.
