Tomorrow is my last day in this job. This woman has made my life miserable ever since I started - in fact, she is the reason I'm leaving. Other than giving her manager a detailed list of the things she does which flout the company rules, what else can I do to get revenge on her when I leave? The trickiest, sneakiest and most intelligent answer gets my ten points. Have fun!

I agree that revenge isn't what it's cracked up to be.

Be sure and personally thank the other co-workers who helped you and made your job more enjoyable. Saying goodbye to everyone in the company but her would certainly get the point across.

I think you're doing the right thing by notifying your boss about her behavior and how their tolerance is driving you away. Encouraging a hostile work environment is unproductive and your supervisor needs to aware that taking no action sends the wrong message.

As you walk out the door, you will have the knowledge you won't have to work with that person anymore. Unfortunately, there are jerks everywhere so I suggest you get some books and learn about human behavior. She's been playing a psychological warfare game, time to be prepared for the next battle.

Good luck...

Youll probally feel really badly if you do something. Trust me guilt is a killer. These things have a way of coming round to bite you on the ***. The best revenge is behaving well. There is nothing worse than when you have behaved poorly towards someone and that someone is really nice to you. Shower her with kindness. Thatll really eat her up and your conscience will be clear.

Hmm, well you don't want to hit her or fight her because that is going to come out to a law suit. I suggest one thing you can do is watch her all day and if she does something wrong complain to the boss. Or if you want you can write in permanent marker in a wall saying this woman sucks don't work with her. Well its totally up to you, because certain things can work better for you depending on different things in your job,

I don't need ten points that bad. Grow up and show the world that revenge is a childish underhanded virtue that shows poor character and will more than likely backfire on you. You will only hurt any redeeming qualities you have. Don't lower yourself. There will be many people in life like the woman you describe. How you handle this is going to be the way you will always handle people. If you pull some stupid prank attempt and get caught you could cause yourself some real grief. Again... Grow up and show some character and abandon this childish idea to get revenge. You are not professional in thinking this way and is probably why you are leaving.

Look her straight in the eye, shake her hand, and say, "I forgive you, hard as it feels."

You could always put on your big girl panties and get on with your life.
