First of all do not switch jobs too often. you should atleast stick to a job for 2-3 years.
After that prepare a well drafted resume with not lots and lots of details but precise details about your profile in current job and previous jobs. If you are not able to do this part you can also take professional help from naukri.com, monster.com etc who offer these services for a fee. Also create a profile on jobsites.
then apply to jobs from papers, web and forward your profiles to head hunters.
Be very specific in what you want and which industry you want to get into.
a salary hike of 35% is normal between job switch. You can negotiate depending on your profile and position for more or perks and benefits.
