I live in Ohio. I am leavibg next September. I am a very quiet person. I want to relocate to a state where there are jobs and the weather is nice and crime is low. I am a hard working woman so work does not throw me. I went to corpus christi texas this year and I really enjoyed it. Needless to say it left me woth a very good imoression of Texas. i really enjoyed. But I am open to all options. I want to start a new beginning and I am eager to get going. My daughter is a junior in college so I am looking forward to relocating.
But I am looking for a place I can work and has jobs. I am a survivor.

Try the areas around Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; Dallas TX.
You might also try the Phoenix, Az area and the Tuscon, AZ area depending on what you mean by decent weather. Southern California might also be a consideration for you.

Central California, especially along the coast. I live in Santa Cruz County, and it's really fine. We have tourist attractions, which provides a major source of income, and we have high technology, especially in Scotts Valley. There are great beaches and surfing, and there is a campus of the University of California, beautiful big redwood trees, interesting people like artists and musicians and aging hippies and bikers. We have it all: including a rather high cost of living, unfortunately. Check it out.

actually the nba is the last who would move to las vegas acording to david stein. they will never get an nba team. the nhl has actually looked at vegas and in a player survey by espn more players picked vegas as the next spot over hamilton and winnipeg. i am not a fan of relocation at all, was very sad to see the sonics move and obviously upset at the chance of our move. however, i dont like having 2 teams in the same area. like the clippers and lakers, kings and ducks, dodgers and angels( yes all my examples are from la.) not saying any of those teams should or will move, just saying it doesn't make sense when you can have only so many teams to have 2 in the same market. by the way the avalanche and broncos are in denver colorado. how does utah suport them? the only professional utah team is the jazz.

I don't know if you like the heat or not. I love warm weather and in seeking employment on different job web sites; I see a lot of opportunities in Arizona and New Mexico.
