I am someone who went back to college to change my previous career. I am having a hard time getting employment with the Big Four accounting firms because i don't have the college campus on campus clubs and on campus recruitement to rely on since i am an older person. It seems like if you don't have the network, no one wants to see you. Any advise?

I am planning to go in the military after high school. The only problem is that I dont know if I'll get paid enough in the air force. How much would I get paid if I go right after high school? And if I work for another branch will I get paid more?

There is a very high turnover in my department. My boss (who is female) is known to snap at any moment. One of my coworkers announced a few months ago that she is pregnant. Since her announcement, our boss ignores her completely, she just communicates with her by email.

Our boss yelled at me once and I put a stop to it... I told her that I was going to start looking for another job because she's impossible to deal with. That was the last time she's treated me like that (I have started looking for work elsewhere). To be quite honest, my husband and I are planning on getting pregnant and I just don't want to be around someone like her if I am going to be treated like my coworker is.

I think it's a form of abuse... I think she's trying to dominate my coworker by withholding communication. Am I correct?

Many would like more money, but I'm looking for something that you would consider making a really big difference in how you felt about working where you do.

I would love to work with wildlife. As a consevationist, especially in Africa. I think that would be so interesting. Unlike the office work I do now. BORING!!!

Here's the situation. I worked for a retail electronics store for a year and a half. I had left this past January when my husband was deployed to Afghanistan and became a full time student. Anyway... out of the blue this company called yesterday to see if I could come back as a seasonal employee. I agreed to an interview tomorrow. What should I wear? Should I wear a suit as though I'm applying for the job the first time or something more casual such as black pants and a blouse? I know the people I am interviewing with and have become friends with a couple of them in my time away from the company. It's just an odd situation since I hadn't thought about going back until the phone call.
