Boeing requires at least a master's in engineering and at least 5 years of experience with air craft.

Generally, you need at least a bachelor's to get a engineering job with Boeing. My friend used to work there. He did not really enjoy it actually, so maybe its best you don't get hired by them. Try other aerospace companies like Lockheed Martin. I wouldn't be set on just one company...after all they will be missing out if they don't hire you. I would suggest going back to school to get a bachelor's in mechanical engineering or get an internship/contract position at a company in order to get more experience. With that experience, you will be in better position to apply for a better job.

I do not think it is George Bush's fault...completely..the economy is just slowing..down. I know since I am also job searching. The Fed rate hikes earlier in the year also put a damper on the job market.

Best of luck.

this is not george bush's fault. You only have an associates degree, thats not very much education as an engineer. Also you have no experience in engineering. Go back to school. get an internship then try again.

It is who you know. Go to the places where other Boeing employees hang out and make some new friends. You can't blame things like that on Bush, you need to be positive in your attitude, attitude is everything.

Boeing fired all my family and friends that were Journey Men Level. Then they never hired them back. We did nothing wrong either. It has something to do with this policy I`m going to tell you now=I need you now, but later i don`t. Best advice to you. Don`t work for them.
