That depends on what you are looking for in a career, if you have always worked on your own car, made your family bird houses ect, then engineering is probably for you, on the other hand, if you are good with people, not bothered by the sight of blood then this may be your route but most inportantly do what you like and what your good at. Money is not everything, i changed jobe after 20 years and do not make as much money but I enjoy life alot more.

Engineering pays much better than assistant. You will always have a job as an assistant, but it will always be a low paying one. An Engineer needs to keep up onthings and be constantly learning, if you do that, you'll always have a high paying job.

mechanical is always evergreen and has bright future and less risk than Physician Assistant.

My brother is a Mechanical Engineer and he makes close to $200,000 a year.
