At the same time, many organisations are complaining that they cannot find qualified people to fill vacancies. How do you explain the apparent contradiction.

Well I recently started working at Blockbuster but prior to that I applied to many other places and Sams Club happened to call me so I decided to go on the interview. All thats left is my drug test and I can work there. Well I dont know whether I should take that job as a cashier or stay at Blockbuster? Well Sams Club does start at 8.50 0r 9 bucks and Blockbuster is only 6.75 but the thing is that at Blockbuster we get 5 free rentals a week and Im doing pretty good at the job and the people I work with are really cool and I enjoy the job. At sams club they get about 2,000 customers a day and theyre busiest during the weekends which is when i work. I also have to be able to pick up heavy things but Im very tiny at only 98 pounds. The only reason I want the job is basically for the money! But which job should I take? The one with a nice paycheck or the more enjoyable comfortable one?

this is actually real --> anyway the manager of TOYOTA automobiles told all his salesmen/women that whoever sells the most cars by the end of the month will get a toyota. so the end of the month came and this women won best salesman and the manager tells her to close her eyes she opens it up and he presents her a Toy YODA. he says that is what he promised and then said "what u think i meant the car?". the woman worked harder day and night and all she got was the toy YODA. she quit and sues the manager. (this was only a word of mouth promise to the salesman, not in writing) so who do u think won the case, and if u were in the woman's shoes what would u do and how would it make u feel?

I have found that most people can not prioritze their lives and never come to grips with that One Thing that matters to them. This One Thing is the thing that all of their decisions should be based upon. Until you find that One Thing, many of us wander from relationship to relationship, heartache to heartache, birth to death. Many have found their One Thing. Have you?

I'm getting frustrated with this job search. I hear about all these great jobs that my friends have, and I ask them where they go, they always tell me online or in the papers. They give me websites to search, but I can never find anything. I'm wanting to give up on the search but I know if I do, I'll never find anything. What can I do?!? I need help.

I have mental-health issues. I am proficient in data entry and telecommunications but when I go out into the "real world" and get a job, I end up having a meltdown and either getting fired or quitting. I WANT to work. I NEED the money. Right now we live below poverty level. I know I can safely work at home, on the phone or computer and be a productive citizen. Someone please help me.

Whats up guys, I got a problem, I've gone through about 17 or 18 jobs now. The problem is I can never keep a job without either confliciting with one of the workers or boss or finding an easy enougjob that doesn't make me want to cry before I go in. I know I need a lot of pshychological help but thers no chance of that so i've given myself permission to find a situation that works and smoke what works to keep me optimistic. I've worked at factories, they're way to fast paced, I've telemarketed, thats too hard, (Stress/sale consistancy), I've done data entry for a relatively easy contract it wasn't 10 key stroke #'s (plus I was allowed to listen to music). I've done a lot of things, department stores etc. I'm about to move to Toronto Canada and I want to know, whats something that would leave me be to myself, I could possibly listen to music, doesn't require a super amount of effort, and I could smoke at? Custodian? Night Security? More data entry, you be the judge, serious answers only

My latest thing: I am not allow to talk much during the work day because the sound of my voice annoys him. Is this even legal? I've been told that being mean to an employee or bullying an employee is not illegal, but should be. What would you do? I've tried not talking at all but it's about impossible to do my job without some sort of communication! (PS - this is just one of many things....there is also the fact he doesn't like my hair (it's curly) and he's flat out told me I'm not as smart as him....I could go on and on....)
