Hi, I'm looking into getting some sales training and I was wondering where I might get a job in the Bay Area that teaches this valuable skill part/full time. Are there any companies known for their training I could look up? How would I compare them with other companies?

Our youngest child will be entering 1st grade and the wife wanted me to help her find a vocation.

She's 40, was previously in sales and needs something FUN that will fill in the time between 10am and 2pm. I told her to find something that she really loves to do and worry about the money second. She needs some ideas to get her going.

She's very smart and healthy. Sky is the limit and we can help her acquire any skills she does not currently present.

Any ideas?

I just want to know of Job N trade located at: www.jobntrade.com is a legitimate company or not. Has anyone done any typing of ads for them? They don't charge any fees, but are they legitimate? Anyone worked for them that has been paid? Reason why I am asking is because I sent them an email and they never responded back to me. I am signed up with them, but before I do any work whatsoever and do not waste my time, I'd like to know if this company is legit or is it just another one of those scams? Any information would be helpful.

My mom and I are wanting to open a cosmetology school but are being told it takes 18 mos to become accredited. Until accredited we will not be accepted by Dept of Education to offer grants and loans. What do people do during that 18 mos? Most people cannot self pay.

I know that with a reverse chronological resume you are supposed to put your most recent work activity first. However, I'm in a tricky situation.

I worked at Job 1 from Aug-Nov 2004 and then again from May - Aug 2006. I worked at Job 2 May - Aug 2006 (yes, two jobs at the same time). I worked at Job 3 Jan 2005 - April 2006. I am now applying for a new job.

The job I'm applying for is totally unrelated to Job 1, but highly related to Jobs 2 & 3. I would like to list them in this order:

Job 2
May 2006 - August 2006

Job 3
Jan 2005 - April 2006

Job 1
August 2004 - November 2004 and May 2006 - August 2006

I want to put them in this order because it puts the most relevant experience first. However, it breaks from reverse chronological format. Do you think that's okay? The alternative would be to simply leave out the fact that I am currently working at Job 1 again.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

In several days I have a job interview and so far I have had alot of interviews for permanent positions but no one hires me. How can I turn this around and make them decide to hire me? p.s. I am in my 40's, have worked but only part time now during the school year, earned an AA, AS, and BA degree, have transportation, and no kids to interfere with working. Some ideas, tactics, and help from you would be appreciated.

My eyes are extremely weak. I can't even be allowed to get any surgery with my weakness. Well, also, I am afraid of such options as well. I want to do something in my life. Earn high paid income. But with the extreme usage of computers... I feel at loss. I want to avoid computers in my career. So I'm wondering, if I want use my eyes the least possible in a career... What sort of career is there for me? A career that pays well?
